I ordered the Southern Ugly Sandwich Meal with onion rings and yogurt ranch. My dad ordered the Ugly Fries. The sandwich was not that spicy, more of a tame spiciness with good flavor. The cajun chicken sandwich was juicy, tender, and perfectly crunchy. The yogurt ranch complemented the cajun chicken sandwich and onion rings. The only reason I deducted a star was that the onion rings were soggy, with only slight crispiness, which was a bummer. My dad really enjoyed the Ugly Fries. He felt the fries were light and fluffy inside and had a crispy exterior. The chicken was tender, juicy, flavorful, and crunchy. The sauce over the chicken and fries complemented both and added more flavor. Overall, the service was wonderful, and the staff member was friendly and informative. The atmosphere is pretty chill, family-style, and upbeat, with a modern/traditional style. Definately will be back to do/try the AYCE Korean BBQ and Sushi with friends or myself.

tried the soy garlic chicken combo 1 and it was so good!! very worth the price as the portions were huge. i had enough for 2 meals. the flavor was very good, maybe a bit too much of garlic but i don't mind. the chicken was very crunchy and crispy.

Great service and even better food. Came here before for the korean bbq but wanted to try their new fried chicken items and was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back again to try all the different chicken sandwich options and the unique sauces!

Very tasty. A little expensive. Inside it was pretty nice. The place is kind of hidden away.

I'll get back to it, but, first off, the food is great. That out of the way, what I love about this place and why I will be back and may even eat INSIDE instead of continuously ordering take out is: everyone is so nice! The staff are friendly and efficient and transparent about cooking times and prices. I've never had someone check with me about the "credit card tax" on a POS reader before. I didn't have cash, so it was gonna be that way, but it was nice to know they cared. It goes on from there. Even the customers are nice to each other. I like to get there right when the restaurant opens to get my lunch fast and fresh, and so do a lot of other people! When picking up my food at Ugly Chicken, it seems everyone is so happy to be about to eat this delicious food that they overdo kindness with each other. Pick up customers were waving in-house diners ahead to get seated! Just a great community vibe. Also, I'm not Muslim, but I'm curious about the prayer room. Seems like someone actually believes in something and is running a business in a way that shows it. My family has eaten the boneless thighs with the classic soy garlic sauce, the truffle fries, and the OG ugly sandwich. I get a side of the buldak sauce, and, yep, she's spicy. My literal only complaint is the fact that they oversauce the sandwiches a bit for my taste, but guess what! I can say "light sauce" when I order! They aren't skimping. I don't eat much beef, so I've avoided the steakhouse attached to the chicken restaurant, but I'd take a group of carnivorous friends there just on the merit of how much I like the chicken restaurant. Keep it up guys, you're doing great!

As a food reviewer for Res Menu, I had the pleasure of trying some of the appetizers and dinner items from ugly chicken, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The Korean Pancake Dinner Seafood was a delightful start to the meal, followed by the flavorful Tteokbokki Dinner. The Japchae Dinner was a satisfying combination of clear noodles and vegetables, and the Fried Dumplings were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with tasty veggies or beef.

For the main course, the Beef Ramen Dinner was a standout with its choice of spicy or regular broth, and the Over Rice Dinner allowed for a variety of protein options such as bulgogi, beef belly, spicy chicken, and more. The Dolsot Bibimbap Dinner was a hearty and filling choice, while the Vegetable Udon Dinner was a light and refreshing option.

Don't miss out on the Dinner Menu Entrees and Soups at ugly chicken. The Prime Bulgogi Dinner and La Kalbi Dinner were rich in flavor, and the Kalbi Jjim Dinner was tender and succulent. The Yookgae Jang Dinner and Korean Spicy Stir Fry Dinner added a spicy kick to the meal, perfect for those who enjoy bold flavors.

Overall, my experience at ugly chicken was a memorable one. The food was expertly prepared, the flavors were authentic, and the service was top-notch. If you're in the mood for delicious Korean sandwiches and other dishes, be sure to give ugly chicken a try. You won't be disappointed!
